Individual Retirement Accounts
IRAs are among the best ways to achieve financial security in retirement. Most of our members can deduct at least a portion of their annual contribution to a Traditional IRA from their taxes, and IRA earnings are tax-deferred until you begin withdrawing funds at retirement.* Rancho Federal offers many IRA options to meet your needs, including Traditional, Roth and Coverdell Educational Savings Accounts (formerly called Education IRAs). Click here for a listing of our current rates and terms.
Roth Individual Retirement Account (IRA) – A Roth IRA is a retirement account that permits individuals to set aside money each year with earnings that may be tax-free upon withdrawal at age 59½ or later. Roth IRA contributions are generally not tax deductible. Rancho Federal recommends speaking with a tax preparer and financial advisor to build a suitable retirement plan for you and your family. A Roth IRA is federally insured to at least $250,000. Click here for a Fillable Roth IRA application.
Traditional Retirement Account (IRA) – A traditional IRA is a tax-deferred retirement account that permits individuals to set aside money each year with earnings tax-deferred until withdrawals begin at age 59½ or later.
